i wanted to use flocking powder(velvet on your nails, or chicken finger nails as some of my friends would call it 🙂 ) for some time now, and that is why i decided to make myself a flocking christmas gift from bornprettystore last year. after the new year’s eve i immediately got to work on the flocking powder nails.
it was an interesting process of making them, it took quite the time but they definitely looked great at the end.
i tried to make different designs on each hand, but also to show you the texture a little bit more, and this is how the right hand came out:
i still have them on my nails right now, and this after 6 days. they last a lot! i wonder how the taking off will be like. even though they looked great right after finishing them, immediately after the first hand wash the color got a little bit weird and the powder started looking more and more odd as the days passed by. but having them for 2 to 3 days i think is enough.
i think a flocking mani with each finger nail a different flocking color would look awesome. waiting for my flocking powder collection to expand now :).
